Image Wizardry

My name is Gavril Theodor, a visual artist from Berlin, Germany.

Since I was a kid I always had to spell out my name, it's not a common one for a young guy in Romania, so naturally people started calling me TH.

I discovered Photoshop very early and quickly learned that you can manipulate an image into becoming anything. You start from an idea, a color, a gradient and make it become anything. Image Wizardry, I called it - and quickly my dream was to become a wizard.

Trying to find my niche, I found passion in creating still and moving images for artists everywhere.

During my formation I pursued a Bachelor's in American Studies, where I fell in love with Mrs. Popescu's Cinematography class. Later I wrote my thesis on "The History and Evolution of CGI in American Cinematography".

Below you will see my projects: music videos, album artworks, animations, photographs, digital collages and whatever else there is. Some are serious, some are random, some are funny (or so I'd like to think)
